He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Charles County Bar Association, where he has served as President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer; the Criminal Bar Association of St. Charles County, where he has served as Secretary; the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; the St. Louis County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Missouri School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys, and the Missouri Republican Attorneys for Civil Justice, in which he is the Secretary and a founding member. He has taught seminars on trial practice to attorneys for CLE credits.
He has been actively involved in the community, serving as a Board Member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis, a Member of the United Services for the Handicapped Golf Tournament Fundraising Committee, has served as a coach for the St. Charles West High School Mock Trial program, and was honored by receiving the Journey to Excellence Award from the St. Charles School District, has served as a judge for the BAMSL Mock Trial Program and the Intercollegiate Mock Trial Tournament. He has been an active parent in the Marching Band and Jazz Band Program at
